Students choose one from languages offered for 1st and 2nd semester and one from languages offered for 3rd and 4th semester.

Specialised Language I (English for Czech students, Czech for foreign students)

Credits: 0 (1^st semester)

Credits: 6 (2^nd semester)

Goal of the course: Application and improvement of language knowledge in a particular study field. Adequate performance in foreign language both in written and verbal form.

Course content: Work on specialized texts and technical terminology. Lexical-grammatical structures of higher command. Formal language. Improvement of communication skills. Active use of foreign language in presentations within students´ specialization field both in verbal and written forms. Language laboratory environment used alternatively as a tool for active learning.

Specialised Language II (French or German or Russian)

Credits: 0 (3^rd semester)

Credits: 6 (4^th semester)
